About the Author

Melinda is a pediatric speech-language pathologist, self-published author and private practice owner. She works primarily with children ages 1-5 with developmental delays, speech sound disorders, and autism. 

Melinda received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Mercy University. She holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed in New York and New Jersey. 

She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with families and providing them with ways to encourage communication development in a practical, functional and simple way. Hence, creating the perfect book to target early speech and language goals at home.
